“Humanitarian emergency in Burundi: Take action now!”

06 May 2024

Faced with the distress caused by the ravages of the El Niño phenomenon in Burundi, collective action is essential to bring immediate relief to the thousands of people affected.

The figures are alarming: more than 237,000 people have been affected, 55% of whom are women, and more than 42,000 have been forced to leave their homes. The floods, landslides and tragic consequences of this crisis have left deep scars in the country’s social fabric.

Faced with this distressing reality, every gesture counts. Your financial support can make a tangible difference to the lives of those struggling to survive. Every donation helps to provide emergency shelter, food, drinking water and vital medical care to those in desperate need.
