Promoting psychological well-being
Children, teenagers and young adults might reach a point in their life which may seem hopeless to themselves or to those around them. To respond to their distress, the Luxembourg Red Cross offers a psychological support service.

Please get in touch by calling 2755, by e-mail at psyjeunes@croix-rouge.lu, or via ONE (Office National de l’Enfance).
Therapy sessions are conducted in Luxembourgish, German and French. Patients receiving therapeutic care offered by the Psy-Jeunes service can do so up until their 27th birthday. Therefore, when the patient registers, an assessment of his or her needs will be made in order to estimate the approximate duration of the therapy. If the therapy exceeds the age limit, the patient will be redirected to a service more suited to his or her needs.
The various support measures are paid for by the ONE if the intervention project has been validated beforehand. A financial contribution can be requested from the parents. In individual and exceptional cases, the Luxembourg Red Cross can finance the therapy.
