Testing Week is a European campaign launched in 2013. It is a biannual event, taking place in May and November. This year is the 8th edition.
Each year, more than 700 associations from several European countries give thousands of people the opportunity to find out their HIV status.
The aim of the week is to unite all the voluntary sector partners across Europe in order to increase access to testing and promote awareness on the benefits of early HIV testing.
In Luxembourg, during the European Testing Week, it will be possible to have a test without a prescription and free of charge in the following laboratories: Ketterthill, Bionext and throughout the year at the LNS in Dudelange.
The HIV Berodung service reminds you that it is possible to be tested on their premises and by appointment on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm and at the Centre CIGALE and on Thursdays between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
The HIV Berodung service also offers the possibility to send you an HIV self-test upon request, either by email hivberodung@croix-rouge.lu or by calling 2755 – 4500.
More information can be found at www.aids.lu or on the DIMPS Project Facebook page. You can even upload the “Testing Week” Facebook frame to your profile picture.
