The ‘Well-treatment’ of the beneficiaries and clients of the services, and in particular the most vulnerable, such as children or dependent persons, is a priority in the 2030 Strategy of the Luxembourg Red Cross.
The ambition of the Red Cross and all its associated entities (Doheem Versuergt, the Château de Colpach Rehabilitation Centre, Aide Internationale and CR Services) is to implement the 10 commitments of the Kindness Charter through a positive and respectful attitude towards others, the development of prevention, and the implementation of a zero-tolerance policy towards mistreatment of beneficiaries by employees and volunteers.

Being attentive to situations of abuse is everyone’s role. To this end, the Red Cross invites all staff to keep an eye out for possible behaviour.
If you witness a situation of abuse towards a beneficiary or customer, do not hesitate to tell us about it:
Your report will be treated confidentially in order to protect all those involved in the situation. Although it is possible to code a report anonymously, we recommend that you leave us your contact details to facilitate its processing. This will enable us to contact you if we need further information, and also to give you feedback on the actions taken.
