With this slogan, the campaign to promote HIV testing, initiated by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the HIV Berodung service of the Luxembourg Red Cross, starts on November, 21st.
With its colourful visuals referring to video games, it aims to inform young people aged 16 and over about the importance of getting tested for HIV before having sex with a new partner. HIV testing is the only way to find out if you are infected with the virus. The sooner HIV infection is known, the better the medical care.
Today, HIV treatments are very effective and neutralise the virus by preventing it from multiplying. There is therefore no more reason to be afraid of taking a screening test. Blood test, rapid test, self-test: make your choice!
The DIMPS-Mobile HIV Testing will be present at the Kirchberg campus during the week of 21 November from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. to offer rapid, free and anonymous screening.
